On Friday, September 19th at 3 PM in 424 Flanner Hall Donald Sassoon will give a lecture The Multiplication of States and the Waning of Sovereignty. Sassoon is Professor of Comparative European History in Queen Mary’s College of the University of London. He is the author of, among other works, One Hundred Years of Socialism (1996), Mona Lisa: The History of the World's Most Famous Painting (2001), The Culture of the Europeans (2006) and Mussolini and the Rise of Fascism (2007).
