Colm Tóibín, author of Brooklyn, his 2009 novel that was adapted into a film by the same name, will introduce the film at 6:30. The screening will begin at 7:00 p.m., and then he will return to the podium to answer questions from the audience. The focus of Mr.Tóibín's introductory remarks will be 20th-century Irish immigration to the United States, and the experience of exile and return to Ireland.
