Professor P.J. Mathews is the '07-'08 Naughton Fellow. He teaches at the School of English and Drama, University College Dublin. He is the author of 'Revival: the Abbey Theatre, Sinn Fein, the Gaelic League and the Cooperative Movement' (Field Day/Cork UP/NDUP, 2003) and editor of the inaugural volume of 'New Voices in Irish Criticism'. He is currently editing the 'Cambridge Companion to J.M. Synge. Dr. Mathews was director of the Parnell Summer School 2002-2005.
