Sam Robertson

Sam Robertson earned his Ph.D. at New York University for work on Northern Irish poetry, under the supervision of Denis Donoghue, and has since published and spoken on the Belfast poets John Hewitt and Louis MacNeice. He teaches a wide range of courses at Suffolk County Community College on Long Island, including Modern Irish Literature. His latest publications include five poems forthcoming in Literary Imagination (OUP), and one in The Hollins Critic. Here at Notre Dame, he plans to write and research poetry, and take advantage of all the stimulations offered by the Keough-Naughton Institute.
