Marie-Louise Coolahan, National University of Ireland, Galway presents a lecture "The Reception and Circulation of Early Modern Irish Women's Writing" at 3:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015 in 424 Flanner Hall.

Dr. Coolahan is Principal Investigator of a major new research project: RECIRC: The Reception and Circulation of Early Modern Women’s Writing, 1550-1700,  funded by the European Research Council, as well as participating in ‘Women’s Poetry in Ireland, Scotland and Wales, 1400-1800’ (based in Aberystwyth University and funded by the Leverhulme Trust).

Her talk will outline the ideas behind both projects and discuss how they will impact  our understanding of women’s writing in early modern Ireland.
