Join us for the official launch of Professor Amy Mulligan's new book: A Landscape of Words: Ireland, Britain, and the Poetics of Space 700-1250 (Manchester University Press, 2019).

Amy Mulligan is Assistant Professor of Irish Irish Language and Literature at the University of Notre Dame and a faculty fellow of the Keough-Naughton Institure for Irish Studies, the Medieval Institute, and the Program in Gender Studies. Her colleague Sarah McKibben, Associate Professor of Irish Language and Literature, will offer remarks at this festive event.

The Keough-Naughton Institute will also honor the celebrated poet John Deane, who will give a public reading in the Snite Museum of Art at 3:30 that day, and Faculty Fellow Ian Newman, whose book, The Romantic Tavern: Literature, Politics and Conviviality in the Age of Revolution (Cambridge University Press, 2019) will be launched simultaneously.
