Annette Gordon-Reed is Charles Warren Professor of American Legal History at Harvard Law School and Professor of History, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. Peter Onuf is Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation Professor, Emeritus, University of Virginia.

Co-authors of “Most Blessed of the Patriarchs”:Thomas Jefferson and the Empire of the Imagination (Liveright Publishing, 2016), both Professor Gordon-Reed and Professor Onuf spoke at two Keough-Naughton Institute-sponsored conferences in Santiago, Chile in December 2019: “Independence, Revolts, and the Early Americas” and “Ireland and Latin America: Globalizing Irish Studies - The Idea of a Nation and Narratives of Independence."
