Notre Dame professors Ian Kuijt (Anthopology) and William Donaruma (Film, Television, and Theatre) introduce their new video book:  Island Places, Island Lives: Exploring Inishbofin and Inishark Heritage, County Galway, Ireland.

Incorporating cutting-edge software technology to enhance public access, this video-book presents striking photography and succinct descriptive text.  It serves as a platform for accessing 22 two-minute films that explore the history, archaeology and heritage of Inishbofin and Inishark, County Galway, Ireland.

The Notre Dame launch follows the Sept 18, 2015, launch on the Island of Inishbofin as part of the National Irish Culture Night.  Guest speakers for the Inishbofin launch included Eamon Kelly (Keeper of Irish Antiquities, National Museum of Ireland) and Éamon Ó CuÍv (TD Galway West).
